Reviewer Guidelines
Your role
Peer reviewers provide independent, expert assessment of manuscripts. Your report helps editors decide whether to accept, revise, or reject a submission and helps authors improve their work.
Writing your report
Structure comments for authors separately from confidential remarks to the editor. Be specific: cite passages, figures, or analyses that require clarification. Distinguish essential revisions from optional suggestions.
Conflicts and confidentiality
Decline invitations if you cannot meet the deadline, lack expertise, or have a competing interest — including recent collaboration with authors. Do not discuss manuscripts with third parties or use unpublished content in your own work.
How to submit your review
Reviewers receive an invitation email containing a secure link to the reviewer portal. Once accepted, you can access the manuscript, complete the review form, and submit your recommendation directly through the portal.
If you have not received your invitation email or need to access your portal, sign in to the reviewer portal.
